Oscars 2020 Recap: The Full List of Winners

Let’s have a little fun!

That seemed to be the attitude permeating last night’s Academy Awards, which rained honors down on a variety of films, especially Bong Joon Ho’s Parasite.

The Oscars 2020 ceremony went without a host but began with a musical performance from Janelle Monae as well as a tag-team monologue from comedy legends Chris Rock and Steve Martin.

Do the Oscars need a host when you’ve got a monologue and presenters? Not when you can also bring Maya Rudolph and Kristin Wiig to the stage to “audition” to play more dramatic roles.

The show’s focus on comedy continued with Will Ferrell and Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who apparently do not know what a cinematographer does.

The show also poked fun at past Oscar moments, such as when John Travolta mispronounced Idina Menzel’s name as “Adele Dazeem,” and when Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway accidentally gave an Oscar to La La Land instead of Moonlight.

Idina performed “Into the Unkown” from Frozen 2 alongside the other singers who’ve played Elsa when Frozen was dubbed into other languages:

But of course, there were Oscars to give away! (The long run time of the show might make you forget.) Here is the full list of winners:
